The Art of Private Sound Medicine

Sound medicine is not only about the instruments we play — it is about the space we learn to hold.
For the past four years, Michael Enderle and Yaelle Shaphir, LAc. have been bringing their complementary gifts to students across Texas, Southern California, Mexico, UAE and India — and every time they share the room, something extraordinary happens. Their collaboration is rooted in mutual respect, genuine joy, and a shared devotion to sound as a path of healing. This May, they bring that energy to San Antonio for their most immersive offering yet.
Join them for a five-day training in the art of facilitating private, one-on-one sound healing sessions — open to complete beginners and seasoned practitioners alike. Together, Michael and Yaelle bring remarkably diverse backgrounds: Sound Medicine Wheel creator and Sound Medicine Maker meets Licensed Acupuncturist, Gong Master and co-author of Life As A Shruti.

🎵 WHAT YOU’LL LEARN
Rooted in the Sound Medicine Wheel framework and the foundational principles of Grand Gong Master Don Conreaux’s - Way of The Gong.
This training guides you through:
∙ Stone, Bronze and Aquarian Age Instrument Mastery — Gongs, Singing Bowls, Tuning Forks, Drums, Rattles, Bells, Ting-Shaws, Chimes, Conch, and Shruti Box
∙ Private Session Facilitation — Bowls on the body, tuning fork work, vocal resonance, percussion techniques, and how to prepare yourself, read subtle energetic shifts, and ground clients before, during, and after a session
∙ The Science & Art of Sound — Acoustics, entrainment, sympathetic resonance, and how vibration guides the mind, body, heart, and spirit into healing states
∙ Nervous System Work — Engaging the vagus nerve and parasympathetic states for deep relaxation and reset
∙ Sacred Techniques — Ancient breathwork and traditional practices that create the conditions for transformation
∙ Presence & Intuition — Cultivating confidence and authenticity as a sound practitioner and Sound Medicine Maker.
Each day blends demonstration, discussion, and hands-on “playshop” experience — moving you from simply playing sound to facilitating transformation through resonance. You’ll leave with lasting skills, a certificate of completion, and life-long connections with like-minded medicine makers.

Train at an extraordinary location. Host George Schroeder brings decades of expertise in metal artistry and aerospace engineering to his craft of Gong and Singing Bowl making. Participants enjoy exclusive access to the forge and a full tour of the fabrication facility — witnessing the entire Gong and Singing Bowl making process from raw metal to finished instrument. A rare opportunity to learn where sound engineers and artisan craftsmen come together to create Schroeder Gongs and Singing Bowls.
